Schedule, Move, and Reassign Work Orders (App)

We showed you how to create a work order in another video. Now we’ll show you how to schedule, move, and reassign a work order. We’ve already created a work order for our customer. On the Admin tab, in the Work Orders section, under NEW, slide down the screen and you’ll see a work order for Mary Dilly has been created but not yet scheduled. To schedule, tap on the work order.

On the next screen, you’ll see we’ve set up most of the basic information for that work order. Now we need to assign it to a tech and choose the date for the work. Tap on Tech and assign. Tap on Date and choose. Once you’ve chosen them, it’ll be automatically assigned and scheduled. If we go to the route dashboard for today, we can confirm.

What if something comes up and we need to change that assignment? It’s also very easy. Go back to the Admin tab, and this time we’ll look at the Scheduled work orders. You’ll see Mary Dilly’s work order is there. Tap on it. At the top of the screen, you’ll see an Unschedule button. Tap that and the assigned tech and date are removed. Now you can choose again.

Go back to the route dashboard for today, check the routes, and you’ll see the work order has been added to the new tech's lineup.
