Add or Delete a Shopping List Item (App)

In Skimmer, you can add an item to the shopping list in different ways. We’ll review them all so you can pick what’s most convenient for you. Let’s start with adding an item directly to the Shopping List, which is tab just to the right of the Route Dashboard. Tap the Plus sign in the upper right corner.

You can choose to add a Part, Chemical, or Other category. You can also choose to add under your company, or directly for a specific customer. To demonstrate, let’s choose Add Part for a Customer. Select the appropriate customer, then choose the service location and body of water if they have more than one.

Choose the part category, the brand, and the specific item. Then add a specific description about what's needed and tap Save.

You can see then that it's added to the shopping list. If you decide you don't need this part after all, you can swipe left to indicate you want to delete. Then tap on the trash can icon and confirm deletion.

You can also add a part to the shopping list directly from the Customers tab. Navigate to the customer, choose the service location and body of water. Then, in the Items Needed box, tap Add.

This time we'll add a chemical. Choose the item, add a description, and tap Save.
